About Me

About Me

My name is Bonnie Collins and I am a college student who lives in Colorado. I am finishing an associates degree currently, then I plan to major in business and minor in culinary arts. I eventually want to open my own bakery. My whole life I have suffered from depression, which has been even more severe since moving to Colorado, away from my friends and family in my hometown. I have recently discovered that cooking helps me more than anything else with dealing with my depression. I hope to help others find a passion by sharing my recipes and stories with cooking.

When I am not cooking I enjoy hiking and foraging in the summer and snowboarding and snowshoeing in the winter. In addition to going to school full time I also work at a dispensary. Stay tuned, there will be an ebook with weed-infused recipes coming soon for anyone interested!

Because I forage I will have recipes next spring/summer with how I use my berries, arnica and other useful plants. I personally love using the natural food in my area, but I always caution people to make sure they do their own research to ensure they only collect edible items. When it gets to that season again I will post helpful sources for those of you wanting to get started.
